Coach for major life & career decisions
Welcome. If you are stuck in a meaningful decision, you are in the right place.
I help thoughtful people slow down, understand where the decision is getting stuck, and start moving again with more clarity and self-trust.
Some decisions are not blocked by intelligence or effort.
They get stuck somewhere between possibility, clarity, commitment, action, and follow-through.
Not sure where to start? The self-assessment can help you find where the process may be breaking down.
I help people make meaningful decisions without forcing certainty, rushing the process, or turning everything into overthinking.
Where decisions tend to get stuck
Different decisions get stuck in different ways.
Most people are not stuck everywhere.
Usually the friction lives in one part of the process. Sometimes the issue is seeing possibilities. Sometimes it is choosing. Sometimes the decision is made intellectually, but action, execution, or follow-through still break down afterward.
The place where movement gets disrupted matters, because different kinds of stuckness usually need different kinds of support.

Different ways to begin
You do not need to start the same way everyone else does.

The Map: Where Decisions Get Stuck
Decision stuckness usually shows up in one of six places. Start with the one that sounds most familiar.
Lacking Options
You feel boxed in, trapped, or unable to see meaningful alternatives.
Can’t Choose
You keep cycling possibilities without feeling clear enough to move forward.
Can’t Commit
You know the answer but feel internal friction holding you back.
Can’t Act
You chose, but procrastination, fear, or lack of systems keeps you stuck.
Don’t Know How
You want to act, but you don’t know how to make it happen.
Post-Decision Care
You’ve decided, but now you’re doubting, adjusting, or recalibrating.
Most people are not stuck everywhere. They are usually stuck in one specific place, and each kind of stuck needs a different kind of support.
About Chuck Blechman
I’ve spent 30 years in technology and leadership, making high-stakes decisions, living with the outcomes, and supporting others in doing the same.
Along the way, I’ve seen how hard it can be to choose a path, big or small, and then actually follow through. That’s true at work, and it’s just as true in life.
As a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), and a Positive Intelligence (PQ) coach, I help you find where your decision is stuck, make the decision, and put it into motion.
Testimonials

Chuck creates a positive and comfortable environment in every session. He is highly insightful, and through thoughtful questions, he gently guides me to self-reflect and arrive at my own decisions and next steps without any sense of judgment. His presence brings out positive energy in me, and on multiple occasions he has helped me navigate difficult situations by simply reminding me of what truly matters most

I feel healthier, more proactive, and genuinely in control of my life. I’ve surprised myself by pushing beyond my old limitations. For instance, I once swore off further education, yet now I’ve been accepted into a master’s program in statistics, something I never thought I’d pursue. I’m living with more intention and courage than ever before.

I’m a much happier and more peaceful person. I’ve learned to approach situations with emotional intelligence – staying calm, patient, and non-impulsive. This shift has helped me assess challenges more thoughtfully and take deliberate, constructive actions.

I had been thinking about life coaching for a number of years before taking the jump, and really wish I had sooner. There really isn’t much risk here; why not set up that first call and see what it's all about?

Frequently Asked Questions
I help you figure out where your decision is stuck, make the decision, and start moving.
Big pivots or small steps, the work is the same:
see what’s actually blocking your decision, and move through it.
That’s exactly the point.
Most people aren’t stuck for the same reason. It’s usually one of a few places:
no options, can’t choose, can’t commit, not acting, or don’t know how.
We figure out which one it is, and work that point directly.
We don’t just talk it through.
We identify where the decision is stuck, then focus there, whether that’s generating options, narrowing choices, working through resistance, or mapping the next step.
You leave with a clear direction and something real to act on.
Most people feel a shift quickly.
Less noise, more clarity, a clearer sense of direction.
From there, we focus on making the decision and building momentum through action.
